About
No Nuts uses your iPhone's camera to scan menus and food labels in real time, highlighting ingredients that match your dietary needs. Point the camera at a menu and your selected allergen categories are color-coded instantly — no photos leave your phone, no account required.
Supported categories include nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, shellfish, soy, sesame, pork, poultry, red meat, seafood, and sulfites. You can also add your own custom keywords to flag personal allergens or any ingredient you want to avoid. Freeze the frame with a long press to zoom in and tap any word for a definition.

No Nuts is designed with your privacy as a priority. We do not collect, store, or share your personal information.
Camera
The app uses your device camera to scan text on menus and food labels. All image processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No images, video, or recognized text are ever transmitted to any server.
Custom Keywords
Any custom allergen keywords you add are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded, shared, or accessible to us.
Definition Lookups
When you tap a word to look up its definition, the app may send that word to Wikipedia's public API to retrieve a summary. No personal information is included in these requests. On devices with Apple Intelligence, definitions may also be generated using an on-device language model — no data leaves your device for this step.
No Analytics or Tracking
No Nuts does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. We do not collect usage data or device identifiers.
No Account Required
The app does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information.
Children's Privacy
No Nuts does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
